Standstill on M1 (South) and M18. Made it through Rotherham, but they were shutting that entrance to M18 looked like. Wasn't going to make it in time, and could've been stuck in traffic for hours. Returned home: 22 mile/1.5 hr round trip to achieve nothing loool. Decided to get out for a 18 min dig on the TT bike up Rivelin Valley, essentially same effort as planned TT this evening. Power PB of 435 W with none optimal gearing up MCR road (not preferred cadence), so my target of 440 was so on this evening!! Reckon that would've come with a 17 min 10 mile PB, but alas. Kills my chance of beating Jake/JJ/Rob for the short distance BBAR, as haven't got anymore fast BBAR 10 milers this year. Oh well. 🤷
