Lost track of how many laps but somewhere around 70 if you include all my trips to my car for aid and the bathroom

Hr 1-6 : as you would imagine felt really good. beautiful cool weather and no one on the trails. was eating some good food and enjoying the run. started to get a little nausea at the end
Hr 6-8: severe GI issues. had to stop at the bathroom every 1-3 laps. barely ate anything other than water. trails started to get really busy
Hr 8-10: stomach finally felt better after some pepto bismol and coke. ate roast beef sandwiches and liquid carbs for the rest of the time. legs were really starting to feel the elevation
Hr 10-12: these hours were a haze just trying to push past the pain while enjoy being out there
shoutout ryan horner for the route and original fkt. can’t wait for someone else to come break it!
