Well we had ourselves a desert adventure today which is what we set out to do. Fueled, hydrated and stayed cool the best I could. Wanted to quit between miles 7-15 with almost unrunnble technical trails but it changed after that. A glorious day. Made some new friends and finished strong with my friend and her three daughters there to cheer me on. Feeling very grateful for all of the wonderful messages I received today and for the love and support of an old, dear friend.
