We planned to see the sunrise 🌄 on the way to Ella Rock. The way starts with some train rails 🛤. Usually there is the train but due recent heavy rain the train is not operating.

It feels weird to be on train tracks 🛤 but is actually the official trail and you can find places 🧃along the way. Running on tracks is definitivelly not comfortable, it feels like training either small steps or too big steps 🏃‍♂️.

We got some clouds ⛅️ on the sunrise but still worth it. We met 2 groups and some couples around the same time. There is a small section a bit steep ⬆️⬆️⬆️. The views are rewarding 😃.

After the sunrise we had an impressive breakfast at Rainbow Cafe🌈☕️ to get energy to tackle 2 stages (Stage 16 + 17) of the Pekoe Trail. It was good because later we did not find any food nor water.

The stages were in good conditions, just small landslides next to the paths. Quite gentle through tea fields 🌿🌿🌿.

Some single trails, and some fireroads. The small roads looks great for cycling 🚴‍♂️ and some of the tea roads for gravel.

Soon after we left Ella we passed through the 9 arches bridge which is very famous. After that we only found 4 hikers and the locals picking up tea and saying hello 👋.
