Bootpack so good it felt like a groomer. Runnable til 2nd lake, walkable to 3rd, slower to the meadow cutoff, postholed to 4th and broke trail half the way. Worth it all. Broke a pole nearly falling into a snow covered mine shaft near the end. I do in fact have my other back-up pole from my half broken set that I thought I left at home. I did lose my headband about 2 miles up according to some people at the trailhead. Back to find it in the morning I guess. Great day :)
