Final quad thrasher before St George Marathon. Sub 40 minute descent is possible fully healthy and without finishing in the dark. Never felt quite right...heart rate was high from the start. I’ve been a bit sick so maybe that’s it. Can’t complain though!!!
Got a nice scrape (in pics) from sliding off a rock at high speed on the steep ridge about 10 minutes in to the downhill...would’ve been nasty without the calf sleeves I was wearing for just this thing!
