Morning Run

Really happy with how that went today. Wore the Adizero Prime Knit again but with smaller socks and taped the blisters that are already there from last time. A bit of discomfort, but generally all good for the feet. 

Had a pain au raisin and an orange juice a couple hours before, a gel just before the start and one at 30 and 50 minutes. Didn't take on any water, but the SiS gels have more water content than most. 

It was a little windy so tried to stay with the lead pack, but had to let them go when the leaders kicked on after 3-4km. Had a small group of three and used that to try take turns leading into the wind. For the 2nd half I caught a couple people from the lead group and one chap hung onto me for protection from the wind, despite being a good foot taller! 

Funnily enough the Parisian who I ran the second half of the race with is also doing Valencia so should have some company for the race!
