Well done dude- Hill Champion
Well played champ!
Damn good ride from you also Niall-2 skinny f....rs
Thanks lads. The hill featured a few 'ramps' so the 8.1% was deceptive, not as steady a gradient as B2B. I thought that I went too hard out of the traps as went into oxygen deficit straight away (first 30 secs) which is not the way I want to race up a hill :) I spent the next minute or so trying to 'recover' and find a rhythm but thought I'd messed it up and was planning my 'excuses'. Intention on our reccy was to sprint at the 200m sign but that wasnt happening so could only jump from about 160m. Cant help wondering if it would've been faster or slower if paced differently, ie steady for first 2 mins, ramp up for 2, then jump... at least its more 'comfortable' that way...
