You seem to be putting a lot of sessions in lately Chris, is this part of building a Celtman base, or something different?
Base for Celtman Dave, with NXTRI in the back of mind. Aim is to improve bike, climbing specifically at the moment, Jan/Feb, then target Flat/rolling TT strength mar/April.
Last year I did a lot of long rides this time of year, got a bit bored/unmotivated for them by March. Gonna try more, shorter, focused stuff earlier this year. Easy week next week :)
What's your plans training and race wise?
Trying to get back into a regular running routine, struggling at the minute but getting slightly better at getting out. Need to build my mileage. Bike wise i'm just aiming to tick over until Feb time. Will have another go at Whinlatter Xtreme so hope to be fit for that, and then lots of fell races maybe with a focus on Jura in May. No massive target, just aiming for an 8 month peak...!!
It's a tough one isn't it! I love running but it's easiest to maintain and hardest to improve. Sounds like a plan though. Will see you at winlatter. You destroyed grizedale pike on that first run! I thought you must be a relay ;)
