That was awesome, came over the top of the first climb in the lead with a good margin, but I had my first ever flat on the mtb and with a poor strategy to fix it, it cost a lot of time. Got it fixed and just road my race and rallied back for 2nd place! Good learning experimce, soo much fun racing up here in the Tetons on the mtb, very happy and excited for the next one - park city point to point at the end of August!! Huge thanks to Jamen’s family for all the support at the aid station and to Scheels for their support inu race as well!! Shout out to Mills for coming 2nd in the single speed category and looking like a zombie after leaving it all out on the trails 🧟‍♂️
