I have been asked to do this run a number of times over the years, today I finally got to do it along with Alison Banford and support from Hartfell Hill Running Club Members. The route is a official LDWA route, it was put together in 2008 as Moffat Hills own mini Bob Graham Round. The record was 16 hours previously, Alison and I set out to try and do the round in under 12 hours, although first most our thoughts were to have a good long day out with friends on the hill, which we most certainly did. My thoughts are a good hill runner could go round in under 8 hours.
