What an amazing event and atmosphere! The energy was incredible and deafening at times. Enjoyed the hell out of it! Really pleased and proud of this effort—it went about as well as it could have gone given the training cycle I had. Ran pretty steadily the entire way and closed it out well in the park. Aerobically, I felt great. Legs started to scream at me around 18, just focused on keeping the rhythm and not caving mentally. A BIG thank you to new friend Brian Schroy, who ran with me every step of the way. Team effort today.
