A Break In da Remote Work Day

A maiden (and lovely at that) outing in Copper Harbor Trails (Township and Fort Wilkins Historic State Park) made possible by the kind intel from dear friends - Kim Green and Dan Kauppi. I am willing to bet Dan K (or 'Dan The Man' as he is affectionately known as) did some of his magic  with the trail conditions. Temperature did not feel like 10 - much warmer. 

I was the only one on the trail for the entirety of this outing. I probably could have double-poled the entire way but the toes in my feet were getting a bit colder - so, I had to use the striding motion to get the blood moving. 

As most descendents/disciples of Mr. Miyagi would know, the Toko Yellow was two shades too warm for the prevailing snow/air tempertatures. But that was done on purpose - to mimic conditions that change overnight for a race (in the future) with no opportunity to redo the wax job.

Fresh wax: Toko Base Performance Liquid Paraffin Yellow polished with a dedicated brush, and Toko Yellow Structure. Turnamic Binding was set to -2.
