Afternoon Ride

An awesome first stage of our 2 man LEJOG challenge. Plenty of climbing throughout a stunning B road scenic route (until we hit Plymouth).  3 chain ferries and a trip to the beach at Looe broke up the long hot day that finished off with some serious climbing after more than 100 miles on the road. Riding through Plymouths centre and along its drag strip dual carriageways is pretty scary for a boy from out of the Warwickshire sticks. A massive thank you to Gary Collins who kindly lent me his Garmin so i now have more than half a chance to navigate to John O'Groats.
