Well how to describe that.... 33% physical, 33% mental, 33% fueling. Definitely glad to have it ticked off the bucket list, but can't see me doing it again anytime soon.
Super happy with my time sub 9:30 moving and sub 10hr overall. Think that was the perfect climb. To be within 2hr of the world record on an old heavy aero bike, on training wheels, with gearing that had me at below 60rpm for extended periods and about 2kg above race weight. I reckon the right guy could get the everesting record up Gummers How (Fell Foot Brow).
