B. That hurt. I'm so dead. Stoked to have gotten the Car to Car FKT! Was bummed for about 10 seconds when I realized I wasn't going to get the ascent, but quickly moved on to focusing on the RT. Every summer I somehow forget how hard it is to move that high up. felt heady for a good 2 hours. Did really bad at eating. Need to figure out how much I actually ate. Didn't think the 99 switchbacks were so bad. Especially on the way down-actually pretty fun! Couldn't have asked for a more gorgeous day to be atop Ms Whitney!
