So I kept receiving notifications that A Bogan from Narangba was taking a KOM from me, despite that he had done it weeks ago. I tried to call Strava to report the bug but couldn't find their number in the White Pages (maybe Russian hackers got to their database too). Anyway, I got thinking that when I got that KOM I was on my CX which would have hampered my efforts on the single track bit at the end somewhat. So, I shaved my armpits, got the XC Bike out, went for a hit, and voila - no broken chain issues (I use Shimano, but I doubt I have the raw roadie legs power that A Bogan has). I guess I just brake less; this is what I always tell people - just brake less.
