Gorgeous day out.  Looked to run up the odometer a bit outside until rear mech cable snapped inside shifter, happened whilst climbing dumping to small cog in rear made for 30 rpm until a pull off was available a mile further...funny this issue didn't present itself on my trainer, would not have been near as fun :P.  Mrs got a laugh knowing I'd become the "local legend" on Lovers Lane.  Found one of the Brandy Station Battlefield markers knocked over while shedding some cold weather gear, suspect the road crew currently doing work nearby may have accidentally bumped it...one hell of a bump, those stones gotta be a good 1,000 lbs
