The city of Nouméa, New Caledonia. Rented the biggest piece-of-crap mountain bike and tooled around.

Tires were inflated to the minimum for which the word "inflated" might generously apply. After a while I stopped by a gas station and inflated them myself, and things were quite a bit better after that, meaning that things were still crappy with the archaic 3x7 knob-twist derailleurs made from rust and hope. 

*Lots* of cyclists with some nice-looking kit, but apparently Strava is used only by folks like me visiting while on vacation renting crappy bikes, because I can't come up with any other explanation for how I got top-10 on some segments. Probably there aren't even 10 recorded rides for those segments.

This ride bumps my Eddington Number from 35 to 36.
