2021 Spring Marathon W05603: 8 easy miles.

Ate well yesterday and slept mostly ok last night. Worked a few hours until sunrise. The first outing to complete the 2021 SISU Ski Fest included peeling skin under one of my skis. Taking up on the event organizers' offer (not just for me but for all participants), I attempted a second outing today after the peeling skin was repaired and tested.

Started easy and kept a steady but far from real race effort. Grateful to all fellow classic skiers for skiing in (forerunning) the tracks yesterday (or days before) and making them sufficiently fast. Exchanged pleasantries/Chatted with Patrick, Peter, Jan and Craig during/after the ski. Good outing.

Ski: Salomon S/Race Skin 201 Medium Blue Classic. Glide wax: 1:1 Toko Base Performance Liquid Paraffin Red:Yellow applied on 2021-01-08 and polished with a dedicated brush on 2021-01-10. Grip wax: Toko Skin Cleaner applied on 2021-01-09. Prolink binding set to +1.
