Let me guess, a ride in search of Italian coffee that didn't end at Cafe de Paris in Monaco?!
Spot on. It was Park Plaza cafe though. Good cappuccinos, and way better than anything you'll find in Nice.
2€ beats the 6€ Cafe de Paris espresso every single time!
Watching your routes on Strava makes me very jealous! Everyone in the DC cycling community is very excited about your successes. I will look for you when NBC Sports Network shows cycling. Are you doing Paris-Roubaix?
Ooouw Skip, what do you suggest, Joe isn't a rider for cobblestones. He's born to fly on the cols! Maybe the Walloon Classics suit him too but the Grand Tours & other beautiful stage races like Romandie, Dauphiné, TourDeSuisse, TourOfColorado, TourOfCalifornia,... must be the long term-target! Hope to see you in the Giro d'Italia this year Joe!
I did not know whether he would be racing Paris-Roubaix or not. The only choice for seeing cycling on TV in the Washington area is NBC Sports Network, which will be showing Paris Roubaix. as it is coming up, I was wondering if we would see our local guy.
Well, enjoy Paris-Roubaix, I think Fabian is going to do another one-man-show! ;-) Joe is currently riding the Tour of the Pays Basque in Spain, good luck over there!
