15 watts higher than before my Maffetone training, but I wouldn't really say I gained anything. This is not new territory for my FTP so I just got back some of my FTP rather than gaining anything.
That said, this was horrible. I haven't done threshold work in months and while I think I was strong physically, mentally I was weak today. I wanted to quit about the 12 minute mark so it was a mental struggle to keep going.
It will be interesting to see what happens after I introduce some FTP work. Did I lay a good foundation so I'll reach a new peak? Or did I lose 12 weeks of potentially working on my FTP? Time will tell.
