Golem waves at them and retreats until, out of their line-of-sight, he finds a hole to squeeze through in the orange plastic fencing. New cut-through, yay! Today's Thursday afternoon exploration of the Old Georgetown Estates neighborhood startles a small set of deer eating a late lunch just east of the I-270 sound barrier. A few downhill jogs pull the average pace to what may be a recent speed record.
