Hi Paddy - didn't realise you were down there..... I rode unoffocially - Started at same time as you. Described conditions perfectly. My bottom bracket broke after 80km.... was making a lot of noise and struggling to get in right gear

Dave were you in Bath colours? Or plain kit. I manged to taco backwheel so every time out the seat rubbing on blocks! I was behind a fella a couple of times who was having trouble shifting and it sounded like bottom bracket was eating itself. Bad times

No. Wasn't in bath kit. Didn't manage to get an entry but had agreed to go down to st David's with them for the weekend. So rode around course. All in balck with purple rain jacket for first half We started at same time and roughly same time So must be me. Bottom bracket was moving by almost half inch at end. Almost uncycleable. Difficult conditions Seen results and slow times. See you at dartmoor.
