After several rides in a row struggling to keep up with my team, and at a loss for figuring out why I was dropping, today I felt like Happy Gilmore here: https://youtu.be/VyydT8dy3Hs?t=149. 

I made one simple change: bringing my road bike on a gravel route. And magically I could keep up with everyone. :) 

So after starting the day with the sadness of discovering that I needed to reseat my gravel bike's front tire, the situation quickly improved when I instead reached for my road bike to still be able to join the crew in time. And the rest ... is history.

So gravel when they mtb; road when they gravel; and I'm guessing e-bike when they road. :O
