I saw your route at tiso.com blogg. I’m coming to Scotland April 7-8. Is it possible to run this or is it still snow or something else that can cause difficulties. Best regards Nina

Nina ....April "should" be fine ! I'd check condtions day before. Only issue might be one river crossing on Lairig Eildhe. Go anti clockwise to hit this first and save getting stuck on the wrong side of the river with long run back. Let me know how you enjoy it .. it's a great run !!!

Thanks very much and the tip for anti clockwise. I try to find some information at Glencoe when I arrive!

Clachaig Inn on a Saturday night is great ~ nice food, drinks and live music.

Hey man I also saw this online, I’m here from Australia travelling around and keen for some trail runs. I’ll be running solo, much risk of me taking a wrong turn out there or is it a basic well marked loop? Cheers

Monica Armstrong ~ sorry for the slow reply (I've been out at sea) ...when are you here ? Solo is fine ...two things to be careful of. If there has been a lot of rain ...go anti clockwise (worst river crossing early) and at the glen etive end ...it's easy to descend too far towards the road. Not a great drama but means a longer climb back up. If you are passing Glasgow, drop me a note on here.
