True to the 🍕 theme, the midpoint of this ride had a 5-minute stop where I used the bathroom and ate a slice of cheese pizza before heading off again!
Getting to the Burke Gilman I got caught with a bunch of stoplights; this meant I was bouncing between not moving and pushing pretty hard and that resulted in me going out a bit too fast once I was on the BGT. Also, given this was an open course and a holiday weekend with decent weather, as the ride progressed there were more and more cyclists on the trail that I had to slow for.
