Great job!!! How do u feel?
Surprisingly at this moment not too bad...legs are tired but I'm sure tomorrow morning will be another story
You are the man!!! Fantastic ride and a slew of trophies too. I think your prep was effective!
8k calories? I think you can eat whatever you want for dinner. And dessert. And second dinner.
Well done! That's one serious accomplishment!
Thanks guys...it was pretty awesome! I really glad I did it and was able to finish it
I'm happy it's complete. Wish I had my phone on strava.
Josh, are you from Amherst, Ohio? It's so hard to tell who is who out on the course. If not, what color jersey did you have on?...white? Did I snap any pictures of you?
No, I'm in Columbia/Hanover Maryland. I was the fella with the white craft jersey...I actually did work my way into a few of your pictures. The one with the unicycle and another looking at the view. That's pretty amazing your able to snap all those pics while keeping that pace
Ah. Ok. You were riding with the guy in the green jersey. I recall now. You crushed that ride too. It was quite the adventure...I've been cycling competitively since 1980 and that's in the Top 5 of hardest things I've ever done. I went online and only three of my KOMs were timed ;I'm Greg Halter in the results...and in real life!!!). Bummer. Yeah, about the pictures...that's what everyone seems to say. It's either one handed or no-hands. No big deal. However, I don't do that in the middle of a group for risk of wrecking everyone. I do tend to get some excellent shots that you won't normally see on Strava, or anywhere, unless you have a motorbike riding with you!! I'll be looking for you out there...maybe on the DD next year, if not sooner. Ride safe!!
That unicyclist was quite unique!!!!
Greg it really was a pleasure to ride with you! I hope we get the chance to do it all over again next year. Keep racking up those miles and tearing up the roads, you are a cycling machine!
Big congrats. I was off the grid over the weekend.
