Leadville 100. What a riot! Two headlamps died by 4:30am. Craig hooked me up big time. Maggie was leading with me until May Queen, I ducked into porta potty and then somehow passed her while Cat and Ryan threw frosting, sour patch kids and a savory rice ball at me. Never gave up lead from 13.5 on. Ran on CT with Timmy Olson. He does a strange, load breathing pattern. It was relaxing. Fell on L knee on flat section of powerline. Effed it real hard and compensated for rest of race. So much candy. So much calm, controlled stoke until 47. Hope pass was so chill and fun. Met Robbie-Irish Salomon photographer. "Come race in Europe!" "Okay!?" (Lemme just finish this race real quick...) Cat saved me so hard at 50. Chilled so hard over Hope again. Then Len had to learn how to pace, but put up with my one cry. Amanda brought me home so beautifully. I was so trashed and slogging, but havin fun (ish) till the end. Supposedly I ran second fastest time ever? Super chill. Woo! Also no blisters or major chafe or diarrhea. Major win!!!!!!
