Was pretty dehydrated by the time I got to the top ended up fighting cramps the last 12 miles. Finally found a spring once in shining rock wilderness area and got some water had to make two soft flask last all the way from cedar rock to there. Actual time 6:59:57. All and all happy to be out in the woods on a beautiful day and do the trail end to end. Now my next go I’ll be a little more prepared and know what to expect. I believe this a unsupported northbound FKT at least what’s published on there website.
