The recent biopic reminded me of the greatest singer of our lifetimes.  Her voice was so powerful, yet so smooth and crisp too.  Ten years later, her later years and passing still make me sad 😢, but we still have my favorites:

📀 1. How Will I Know: the 12" single on Houston St.; If you haven't heard it already, listen to the isolated vocal.  It's stunning and stirring.

💿 2. Moment of Truth: Not to be confused with One Moment in Time, this was the B-side to I Wanna Dance and a criminally neglected track.

💽 3. I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me): This route is the less cropped image from the single that includes her hands and waist.  In retrospect, the cropped second "Whitney" album cover would've been enough mileage.

On this three-day roundabout tour of SF, of course I had to include Whitney, Elizabeth, and Houston Streets. 😊

Technical notes:

After my Mother's Day piece, this was the second time I didn't have the whole route planned when I started.  I did the torso over Days 1-2 and then planned the head and hair.  Ideally I wouldn't have stacked the third day with so much mileage, but it was flatter and closer to home.

Mon 12/26: ~26.5 miles, 11:30am-5:30pm
Tue 12/27: ~15.5 miles, 12:30pm-4:00pm; espresso at La Lucha Coffee Bar ☕ and two slices at Gioia 🍕
Wed 12/28: ~28.5 miles, 10:15am-4:45pm; grilled cheese 🍔 and fries 🍟 at In-N-Out

So there's a mile or so of Fenix 5s mileage bloat (as usual), but what's 70 vs. 71? 🤷‍♂️
