Big loop to grab some peaks and make the most of the day! Second time I've done this route, last was May '22 and the conditions then were crap... today, conditions were primo. The day started out with blue sky but a thick blanket of undercast around the Bonds and inner Pemi ... by the time I got to Bond, it was burning off, and within a span of maybe 20 minutes it was gone completely. Schwing!

Hale summit at the end marked my round 11 finisher of NH48, and after consulting my spreadsheet there is a high liklihood it's going to be my 12th round finisher as well. (Was also round 10 finisher). Sheesh, it's like Hale's revenge for getting passed over on earlier hikes.

Only saw two people all day, including Cone Demon and her dog, who left her calling card at the base of Fire Wardens (she did HZB traverse), see pic.

Going to start referring to this route as the Seven Dwarfs Loop as if that's what it's always been called. It makes sense though, you start/end at Seven Dwarfs and then bag seven summits (Bond twice, but..) Which dwarf name is assigned to which summit is an exercise left to the reader ... though Grumpy and Sleepy are pretty obvious assignments for (ehem) two of the seven peaks.
