Well that was tough! 🤣

I was able to race with my own plan. Not going too hard for the first uphill, but taking the use of my strength. I was running alone after 25 min but I could catch Roberto during the first longer downhill at about 20k mark. Actually the downhills felt quite good all the time so the long camp has been useful. On second longer downhill I fell just after passin Roberto again but luckily I didn't break any bone or anything else.

Last 15k started to be a struggle. I had minor problems with my stomach and it affected for the last 10k. Just 3k before finish line I looked back and saw the fourth guy only ~30 sec behind. I started or at least tried to run faster and I can say that those 10 minutes were super tough. My max hr on treadmill test was 187 bpm and on this race it was 195 bpm. 🤣 But I managed to secure the third place but hadn't any change to catch the second guy. At finish I was super tired and didn't felt too good. Sometimes it's nice to get that feeling also. 🫣 Overall I'm happy with my performance. I aimed for the podium and achieved it. Now it's motivating to continue the work!
