GREAT run! The trails were beautiful! I visited Bosco del Vallino (little forrest village). Then I stumbled upon the signs of ‘Trail della Diga’, which I decided to follow. Good choice, cuz the trails were beautiful! So enjoyable. 

A bit later I decided to Google the route, to see where exactly it was taking me. And guess what? It’s the route for a 20K trail run that is being organised on the 2nd of April 2023! I might just sign up for it :)

The the way back. It was going pretty well. The last ~3KM were all uphill, back to the village. Not crazy steep, but it was a continuous climb of ~200m. At 1.5KM before the end, I bonked. Pretty bad. Felt so empty, getting light headed etc. An allround negative experience. 0/5 rating. But on the other hand: I was almost home… and if I continued just a little more… I could finish at 25K under 3h. That became my goal. The last few hundred meters were tough. Still uphill. But I managed :) and now I’m rested, refueled, and rehydrate and I dont feel so bad anymore :)
