I'd say that's great for being undertrained. Shows what kind of a base you must have. Well done, Israel!
Thanks Scott, I was quite surprised too, thinking that my base from years past somehow made me able to get through the race without too much difficulty. Sure, legs were sore hadn't run but once a week (in short 5k races or once a half marathon) for the last month, and hardly any running for 3 months. But don't feel too bad at all, and was rather happy to make 30k in 3 hours, I was just hoping for a sub 5 hour finish, and in the end I did, so just soaked up all the atmosphere and fun of running in Korea.
Great! Great! Great, Israel! My congratulations!
Thank you Stepan !!
