Yes, we did take 7 hours for just 30 miles, and we rode hard! Here's what happened: Another amazing test bike arrived at the Bicycle Quarterly offices. So we took it on what may be the hardest climb in the Cascade Mountains. We prepared for an all-day ride, yet ran out of food and water. We pedaled and sweated and laughed. We had fun! 

And since this is a BQ bike test, we can't give away much more. Full story and photos of the (amazing) views (and the bike) will be in a future edition of Bicycle Quarterly.)
