Today was quite literally the first good running weather all summer, so I had to take advantage with a long day in the Whites. I went counterclockwise, but I think clockwise might actually be faster since the top of Dry River Trail is so dumb that you might as well be climbing it. Lots of stunning views and lots of the “wilderness experience” sloshing through bogs and pushing through spruces. Happy to get the FKT, but this can definitely go faster in anything but the wettest July on record. More later.
