Review of where I think training failed: http://runjames.co.uk/training/dissecting-disaster/
I have read your blog post on this sub 2:45 attempt. I still wonder how it was possible that you didn't smash 2:45, you also did your long runs in the sub 7 min/mi pace :'(
Dan Biagi thanks for reading the blog Dan, I felt confident but in the end there's quite a big difference between 6:15 pace and 7:00 per mile and I just didn't do enough of it to make it comfortable. Might do another marathon sometime and will definitely make sure I do! Are you running a marathon soon?
The plan is to run Frankfurt in 8 weeks. My race times on shorter distances suggest that I am in a 2:52 shape, despite I have never been that fast in the past, but heart rate data says that I could give to 2:49 a go. Basically, I am starting to panic.
