    Thanks Thomas ... I need to do the same thing next week with a 5 mile longer run on Saturday (25m) to get to 80m, then I'll take a down week.

    That's a lot of running for a week but I'm sure it will pay off in future races. Are you going to do any altitude training for trt

    I've done some research on that subject and I don't think that I can get enough exposure at altitude to make a difference. I'm running the training run 6/10, so I'll see how that feels. The only thing I'm doing is more hill work and heat training.     That's an interesting article I didn't know that heat training would help with altitude.

    Yeah, I'll see how it goes. Everyone responds differently to altitude and I don't know where I fall on the spectrum. The training run will be a good gauge for what the effort feels like to run at elevation vs sea level. Based on how it goes, I'll make adjustments.
