11 months on the islands now. Have found some good routes within the limited infrastructure here. Can do fast ones, or hill sufferfests. Have done most of the ridges from Manoa, to Koko Head. Add Waimea Canyon to the "done" list.(in January '18), Haleakala (Mar '18). Mauna Kea, from either Kona or Hilo awaits, but with the Kilauea eruption and heavy vog, might not happen for a while.
NOTE: I am 250 miles, and two islands away from Kilauea.
http:/www.tofighthiv.org/goto/daven I have now done AIDS/LIFECYCLE twice. 550 miles over 7 days. SF --> LA. I am taking 2017 off, though, I continue to ride, nonetheless. The cause isn't solved. Both entities can still use your tax deductible donation (see above)
I ride on my own quite frequently, ride with David Danovsky to work (San Diego county), and on Randonneur (rusa.org) permanents/brevets (longer distance riding, 100K+.) Have done my longest rides with him. Have created a couple of my own routes now
