I am a runner of old..... and I run to eat. Having got the running bug while living in New Zealand I ran the Auckland Marathon and the Sydney Marathon as well as a whole host of trail races. LOVE IT!
Having relocated back to the UK a few years ago, I lost my fitness mojo and enjoyed life for a while. But I'm the kind of person who needs goals and something to work towards. I started back at the gym in 2015, doing regular spinning classes (my second fitness love, my first love being my wonderful husband!!) and after doing a charity hike/bike ride last year I decided (with the support of James) to set the London Marathon as my 2017 goal. I smashed London with a finish of 3:27:30. Now to beat THAT in the next 12 months!!! I have also entered an ultra marathon in August to keep me focused post London.
I'm the mad one at 6:30 am plodding about Dorset who will always say 'Good Morning'. (we don't do that enough in England!!!)
