In 1977 I had a basketball injury resulting in the need for knee surgery. My orthopedic surgeon told me the best conditioning method for rehabing the knee was cycling. I bought a bike and joined Major Motion Cycle Club and have been riding ever since. "Keep in Motion" was our club motto and I have adopted it as my own.
