I started riding at 4 years old, stopped for about 25-30 years, got a bike in 2014 and have loved it ever since. I Everested 6 times in 2016, the first of which was 69 days after breaking my femur in November 2015. My Everesting on 23/9/16 was the steepest ever recorded in the Hall of Fame, achieving a crazy goal i set a few months back and against all odds https://www.strava.com/activities/722192977 Then following the same theme on the first day of winter in 2017 i set out to climb 10,000m in under 100km, a Strava first https://www.strava.com/activities/1017395620 if you believe in yourself, stay positive in hard times and be positive to others, you can achieve great things. I've met some awesome friends through cycling who inspired me. I also made the easy decision to be vegan and it was the best thing I could have ever done for the animals and the planet. The personal bonus was increased cardio fitness and energy levels. Also knowing I no longer fund/support such a disgraceful injustice is a positive change. If you haven't seen it, watch EARTHLINGS on YouTube. It opened my eyes to things that should be common knowledge, a definite life changer for me... https://youtu.be/j9E-SmCDo-U
