Commuted by bicycle in the Denver, Colorado, area for 33 years. Set up residence in Henderson, Nevada, in 2004. I have dual residency in Colorado and Nevada. Retired Visual Basic programmer and personal fitness trainer. I do strength training in the gym about 5 to 6 hours a week. I have found that I ride better and enjoy riding more if I spend one of my cycling days in the gym doing intervals on a spin cycle as a warmup and then work the leg machines. I am stronger and feel better doing so.
