The Garmin inReach® Mini is a lightweight and compact satellite communicator that can be used as your go-to connection for maintaining off-the-grid contact.
Main features include two-way global messaging, interactive SOS alerts, location sharing, 100% global iridium satellite network and a detailed weather forecast service.
I'm currently testing this device and planning on writing a detailed review. As part of my research, I would love to know what other Strava users think about it.
If you own the inReach® Mini, or a similar Garmin device, how you use it for your hikes, runs and other outdoor adventures? Which features do you use the most? Is it easy to use? Do you think it's worth the money?
If you don't own a device like this, is it something you would be interested in purchasing as part of your emergency kit?
