I kinda took up cycling to help with weight loss (although I was 'only' in the top part of my recommended BMI) and fitness. A couple of thousand miles and a calorie controlled diet later, I am over a stone lighter. Wooo! And my Strava segment times have generally become progressively faster. It's generally fun. Aside from the climbs. Hate the climbs. Grrr.
