Mt. Everest Running Climbing Challenge

Climb 3,489 meters in the month of May

Challenge Ended: May 31, 2017
May is summit month on Everest, and this challenge is all about solidarity among athletes in the Himalaya – especially Strava mountaineers Adrian Ballinger and Cory Richards, who are returning this year to climb Mt. Everest without oxygen and are recording their whole adventure on Strava. Follow their ascent and also check out their story on Snapchat (EverestNoFilter). After that, go out and get climbing. You’ll have a full month to ascend 3,489 meters, the same elevation gain from Everest Base Camp to the summit. Yeah, it’s hard – so is climbing the world’s highest peak.

To show your support and comment on the expedition, you can also join the official EverestNoFilter club.
