No month is truly complete without a long ride. Complete this Challenge simply by riding at least 115km in one activity – as fast or slow as you like. Whether you ride for the badge or just ride for yourself, grab some friends and enjoy a big day out.
Athletes who complete this Challenge will receive a Gran Fondo digital finishers badge in their Trophy Case.
You have to ride 115 kilometers in a single ride, and the elapsed time of the ride must be under 24 hours.
To ensure you meet the Challenge goal, we recommend you ride a small amount over 115 kilometers during your activity (about 3 km / 2 mi). This will give you a buffer in the event your activity distance is shortened after upload to Strava due to the cleanup of GPS irregularities. The Challenge period starts and ends based on each riders local time zone.
Manual entries, trainer rides or rides marked private will not count towards your Challenge effort.
All activities logged during the Challenge period must be uploaded to Strava no later than three days after the Challenge ends.
Ride hard and be safe. Use common sense when it comes to traffic, weather, or other conditions while taking part in this Challenge. Remember to take care of your hydration and nutrition needs when you’re out on the road.
