It’s the perfect time of year to help those in need – and hold on to your fitness heading into 2017. So we partnered with everydayhero to inspire Strava athletes to do both.
It’s easy: Once you’ve joined this challenge, commit to dedicating your runs over the next 30 days to a great cause. We worked with everydayhero to assemble a short list of diverse and impactful charities – pick one and get to work. Every time you run during the challenge is an opportunity to give, and also to spread the word to your followers that you’re going the extra mile for a worthy cause. You can commit to donating yourself, or if you want to make an even bigger impact, start a fundraising page of your own on everydayhero and ask your friends and family to support your efforts.
We’re hoping to run a collective 4 million km, which is about 50km for every Run for a Reason athlete. But there’s no minimum to complete this challenge. Just commit to donating or starting a fundraising page, then get out there and make an impact.
One more thing: The top 50 fundraisers will earn a free year of Strava Premium.
