It’s the perfect time of year to help those in need
– and hold on to your fitness heading into 2017. So we partnered with everydayhero to inspire Strava athletes to do both.
It’s easy: Once you’ve joined this challenge, commit to dedicating your runs over the next 30 days to a great cause. We worked with everydayhero to assemble a short list of diverse and impactful charities – pick one and get to work
. Every time you run during the challenge is an opportunity to give, and also to spread the word to your followers that you’re going the extra mile for a worthy cause. You can commit to donating yourself, or if you want to make an even bigger impact, start a fundraising page of your own on everydayhero and ask your friends and family to support your efforts.
We’re hoping to run a collective 4 million km, which is about 50km for every Run for a Reason athlete. But there’s no minimum to complete this challenge. Just commit to donating or starting a fundraising page, then get out there and make an impact.
One more thing: The top 50 fundraisers will earn a free year of Strava Premium.
